Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IsraelGPT (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of IsraelGPT. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not use this Service under any circumstances.

We do not use an independent age-verification service. We rely entirely on the representation you make when you choose Agree or Reject before your first chat, and on the representation in this Section, so it is your responsibility to be truthful about your age.

3. Description of the Service

IsraelGPT is an experimental, satirical AI-powered chatbot platform about Israel, operated privately under an alias in the United States. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the government of Israel, any political party, or any religious organization. The Service is available globally and may be used as a guest or with a free account.

Beyond chat, the Service includes AI models and personas to choose from, pictures (Section 32), songs, podcast episodes, flashcards and downloadable files in replies, voice input through your browser, memories for signed-in users, a public chat room described in Section 10, voice calling between users described in Section 31, and a public API described in Section 29. Not every feature is available to every user; some are limited to signed-in users or other conditions that may change over time. The Features & Guide page describes the current features.

Viewer discretion is advised. The Service may contain or generate content that is not suitable for all audiences, including satire, dark humor, and mature themes.

4. Accounts and Registration

You may use the Service as a guest, or create a free account with the sign-in provider you choose or with a one-time code sent to your email address. There are no passwords. You choose a username and a caller picture, which other people see in the chat room and in calls, and you agree that your username will not impersonate anyone or break Section 7.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you, except to the extent caused by our own failure to safeguard your information. Keep access to your sign-in provider and email account secure, sign out browsers you no longer use (Settings → Account), and notify us promptly at the address in Section 30 if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts are intended for individual, personal use. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account with another person.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. This deletes your account, its sign-in methods, saved chats, About Me, memories, API keys and call blocks, and takes your chat room messages out of the room. Some records are kept for the periods described in the Privacy Policy because they exist to investigate abuse and meet legal duties, including the chat log (with your email address removed), chat room messages and safety records. To ask for a copy of your data, or for other data to be erased, contact us as described in Section 30 and the Privacy Policy.

5. AI Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI outputs may be inaccurate, offensive, biased, explicit, misleading, or entirely fabricated (hallucinations).

You must never rely on AI outputs as factual, accurate, or complete information. The Service is not a source of truth and should not be used for making important decisions.

The Service is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Any information provided by the Service is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for any purpose.

Marketing copy, page titles, meta descriptions, social media preview cards, and similar promotional text used to advertise the Service (for example, calling IsraelGPT the "most reliable source" of anything) are comedic hyperbole and satire, not factual claims, and are subject to this AI Disclaimer in full.

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and any consequences resulting from such use. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You must not submit passwords, confidential information, trade secrets, or personally identifiable information to the Service. The operator is not responsible for any data breaches or unauthorized access to information you submit.

You must not use the Service to attempt to contact, lure, or groom minors, or to request, solicit, share, produce, or engage with child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — see Section 8 for our zero-tolerance policy and what happens when this is detected.

You must comply with all applicable laws while using the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

• Generating or distributing illegal content
• Creating, requesting, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Harassment, abuse, doxxing, or threatening behavior directed at real people
• Intellectual property infringement
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent activities
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our underlying systems and data
• Scraping, crawling, or using automated means to extract data from the Service beyond normal, individual use
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service, including through excessive automated requests, denial-of-service attempts, or attempts to bypass rate limits or feature gates
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially redistributing access to the Service without our prior written permission
• Posting spam, flooding, or other people's personal information in the chat room, or using the chat room or calls to harass, threaten, or sexually approach other users without their consent
• Recording, broadcasting, or publishing a call without the other person's consent where the law requires it
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including export control and sanctions laws (see Section 24)

The operator reserves the right to terminate your access for violations of these terms, as described in Section 23.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for CSAM. See Section 8 (Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material) and Section 9 (Safety, Crisis Detection, and Emergency Resources), and the Privacy Policy's Child Sexual Abuse Material section (Section 3).

8. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

IsraelGPT has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), by any term or euphemism ("CP," "child porn," "preteen," "underage," and so on). This policy is not affected by any other setting, persona, or mode of the Service, including Uncensored Mode.

What you write on the Service (chat messages, usernames and API key names, About Me and memories you write, chat room posts and reports, support messages, and API requests) is checked automatically for references to CSAM. A match is blocked before it reaches the AI or anyone else, and is logged with the sender's IP address, the full text, and any account identifiers available, in an access-restricted review queue. An explicit request for the material automatically suspends the browser identity and account for 24 hours while it is reviewed; the operator then decides whether to lift the suspension, extend it, or make it permanent, at their discretion. A detection flag alone does not result in a report — every flagged message is reviewed by a person first. Where that review concludes the message constitutes or solicits CSAM, it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate law-enforcement authority, together with the collected identifiers, as required by US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).

Automated detection is imperfect: it may miss references phrased in ways it does not recognize, and may occasionally flag an innocent message for review. This does not change the zero-tolerance policy itself, only how confident we are before anything is escalated.

The same policy governs the pictures in replies. Whatever maturity setting you choose, pictures are filtered by their tags on our servers before they are sent to you, and the tags that mean a child are never served at any setting (Section 32).

Violating this policy is grounds for immediate termination of your access without notice, in addition to any report made under this section. See the full protocol in our Privacy Policy (Section 3) and our Safety & Crisis Resources page.

9. Safety, Crisis Detection, and Emergency Resources

The Service is not a crisis service and must never be relied upon as one. IsraelGPT is a satirical AI chatbot. It is not a therapist, counselor, doctor, or emergency service, and no human being monitors conversations, the chat room, or calls in real time.

If you are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or you are worried about someone who is, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Messages you send are automatically checked on our servers for language associated with suicide and self-harm.
• Chat messages that match are not sent to the AI, and are answered instead with crisis resources. The AI is also instructed to stop and point you to help if such language reaches it. Chat room posts that match are still posted, and you are shown the crisis resources.
• A small safety record of each such event is kept, as described in the Privacy Policy (Section 2). That record does not include the text of your message, although the message itself is kept in the chat log like any other message.
• This screening is automated and imperfect. It will fail to detect some expressions of distress and will occasionally interrupt unrelated conversations. It does not alert any person, and no emergency services are contacted on your behalf.

10. The Chat Room

The Service includes a public chat room. Anything you post there, including a reply you share from a chat together with the question you asked, is shown to everyone who opens the room, with the name and caller picture you post under and the time. Do not post anything you would not want to be public, including your own or anyone else's personal information.

• You are responsible for what you post. Section 7 (Acceptable Use) applies in full.
• Posts are checked automatically as described in Sections 8 and 9, and are subject to rate limits.
• We may take any message out of the room, time you out of the room, or suspend your access, at any time and without notice. Messages taken out of the room are kept for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
• You can report a message. Reports are reviewed by a person, but not in real time.
• We do not review posts before they appear and are not responsible for what other users post, including links, which lead to sites we do not control.

11. User Content

You retain ownership of what you write, post, or say on the Service. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing, securing, and moderating the Service, including showing your chat room posts publicly and sending your messages to the AI model providers that write replies. You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights. The Service does not accept uploaded images or files.

The operator does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs. You own any outputs generated based on your inputs and may use them commercially or non-commercially at your discretion.

12. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service — including through the Contact Support form in Settings — you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use them for any purpose, without any obligation to compensate you or attribute them to you.

Do not send us feedback that you consider confidential or proprietary.

13. Moderation & Enforcement

Messages, chat room posts, and reports are logged and may be reviewed for moderation, abuse prevention, debugging, and legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy. The operator may manually review conversations when necessary. Calls are not recorded and cannot be reviewed.

The operator reserves the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service at any time without notice for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or suspicious activity. Some limits are applied automatically, such as rate limits and the automatic suspension described in Section 8. If we suspend your account or revoke one of your API keys, we may email the reason to your account's email address. If you believe a decision was wrong, contact abuse@israelgpt.site. See Section 23 for the effect of termination.

Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC and/or law enforcement as required by law, together with the sender's IP address, message text, and any associated email address or account identifiers, per Section 8 (Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material) and the Privacy Policy's Child Sexual Abuse Material section (Section 3).

The operator cooperates with law enforcement and will comply with valid legal requests for information.

14. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

The Service's AI responses are generated by third-party AI model providers, reached through an AI routing service. Your conversation, and, if you are signed in, your About Me and memories, are sent to them to write each reply, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your IP address, identity, and location are not.

The Service also relies on other third-party providers, including our hosting and infrastructure provider (which also runs the automated check that you are a person and the relay that carries calls), the sign-in provider you choose, our email provider, and a picture service that pictures in replies are loaded from. The Service shows no advertisements. The operator is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

Integrations built by third-party developers using the public API described in Section 29, including any Discord bot, may run on or interact with additional third-party services (such as Discord) that are outside the operator's control and not covered by these Terms; the developer of that Integration, not the operator, is responsible for compliance with those third-party services' own terms.

Third-party services may have their own terms of service, privacy policies, and data practices. You agree to comply with all third-party terms when using their services through the Service.

15. Generated Files & Downloads Warning

The Service may automatically generate files and code that are downloadable by users. Generated files may be unsafe, incorrect, or contain errors.

You download and open generated content at your own risk. The operator makes no warranties regarding the safety, accuracy, or functionality of generated files.

Generated code may contain security vulnerabilities, bugs, or may not function as intended. You should review and test all generated code before using it in production environments.

16. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and original content, belongs to the operator. It is not released under any open-source or other license, and all rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. The one exception is the example code in the API documentation, including the example Discord bot, which you may download, run, modify, and build on to use the public API under Section 29.

Third-party content, trademarks, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

You retain ownership of your inputs and any AI-generated outputs based on your inputs.

17. Fees; Free of Charge; Future Changes

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We do not currently process payments and do not collect billing or payment card information.

This may change in the future without notice. If the operator introduces paid features, tiers, or subscriptions, additional terms specific to those offerings will apply, and nothing in these Terms obligates the operator to keep any feature — free or otherwise — available indefinitely. See Section 19 (Service Availability).

18. Beta Features; Experimental Nature; Progressive Web App

IsraelGPT is described throughout these Terms as "experimental" because it is: features are added, changed, and removed frequently and without notice, and some features may be labeled as beta, experimental, or otherwise unfinished. Such features are provided with an even lower expectation of stability than the rest of the Service and may be discontinued at any time.

The Service may prompt you to add it to your device's home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Doing so does not make IsraelGPT an application distributed, reviewed, or supported by Apple, Google, or any app store or platform operator, and no app-store terms of service apply to your use of the Service as a result. These Terms continue to govern your use of the Service regardless of how you access it.

19. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any guarantees of uptime, reliability, or availability.

The operator may suspend, discontinue, or modify the Service at any time without notice. The operator is not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

No guarantees are made regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

THE OPERATOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• AI outputs will be accurate, reliable, or factual
• Generated code or files will be safe, secure, or functional
• The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• Errors or defects will be corrected

AI systems are prone to hallucinations, misinformation, and generating offensive or biased content. You assume all risks associated with relying on AI-generated outputs.

Generated files and code may contain security vulnerabilities, malware, or other harmful content. The operator makes no warranties regarding the safety or integrity of downloadable content.

The operator is not responsible for any harm resulting from your reliance on AI outputs, including but not limited to financial loss, legal consequences, medical decisions, or personal injury.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Reliance on AI-generated outputs, hallucinations, or misinformation
• Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in AI responses
• Offensive, biased, or harmful content generated by the Service
• Security vulnerabilities or malware in generated code or files
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Service downtime, interruptions, or data loss
• Third-party service outages or failures

The operator's total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to access the Service. If you accessed the Service free of charge, the operator's liability is limited to zero.

The operator is not liable for any actions taken by third-party providers, including our hosting, AI, sign-in, email, picture, call-relay, or any other integrated services, or for anything other users post, say, or do, including on calls and in the chat room.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operator, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) resulting from or arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit, post, or say on the Service, including in the chat room and on calls
• Your reliance on AI-generated outputs

The operator reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with the operator in asserting any available defenses.

23. Termination

The operator may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including the violations described in Sections 7, 8, and 13.

You may stop using the Service at any time, and may delete your account using the in-app option described in Section 4.

Sections that by their nature are intended to survive termination — including but not limited to Section 5 (AI Disclaimer), Section 12 (Feedback), Section 16 (Intellectual Property), Section 20 (Disclaimer of Warranties), Section 21 (Limitation of Liability), Section 22 (Indemnification), and Section 26 (Dispute Resolution; Governing Law) — remain in effect after your access ends or you stop using the Service.

24. Export Control and Sanctions Compliance

You may not use the Service if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive United States trade sanctions, or if you are listed on any US government restricted-party list. By using the Service, you represent that you are not subject to any such restriction. The Service and the AI models it uses (Section 14) may themselves be subject to applicable export control laws and regulations.

25. DMCA / Copyright Complaints

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to support@israelgpt.site. To be actionable, your notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service, and include your contact information and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

The operator does not currently maintain a separately registered DMCA agent with the US Copyright Office; the email address above is the sole point of contact for such notices and will be handled on a best-efforts basis given the small, privately-operated nature of this Service.

26. Dispute Resolution; Governing Law

If you have a dispute with the operator, please contact support@israelgpt.site first and describe the issue. Most concerns can be resolved this way without further action.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them or the Service are governed by United States federal law and generally applicable contract-law principles, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules that would apply the law of a different jurisdiction. Given the Service's anonymous, privately-operated structure described in Section 3, the operator does not designate a specific state of incorporation or a specific court or venue for disputes.

This section does not limit any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law to bring a claim in your local courts, where such a right cannot lawfully be waived, and it does not waive any small-claims-court right you may otherwise have.

27. General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to best reflect its original intent.

No waiver. The operator's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Force majeure. The operator is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including infrastructure or third-party provider outages, natural disasters, or acts of government.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without the operator's consent. The operator may assign these Terms without restriction, including as part of a transaction described in the Privacy Policy's sharing section (Section 5).

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Safety & Crisis Resources page, constitute the entire agreement between you and the operator regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements.

Notices. The operator may provide notices to you by posting them on the Service. You may provide notices to the operator using the contact information in Section 30.

Headings and language. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. These Terms are drafted in English; any translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version controls in the event of a conflict.

28. Changes to Terms

The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.

Material changes will be highlighted or notified to users when practicable.

29. Public API & Developer Access

The Service offers an optional public API (see israelgpt.site/docs) that lets you send requests to the same underlying persona and models that power the Service's own chat interface, using an API key issued from the API Dashboard.

API keys are personal to your account, must be kept confidential, and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. You are responsible for all activity conducted using your API key, whether or not authorized by you. Each key's requests are logged, and you can see that log on the API Dashboard, as described in the Privacy Policy; revoke a key there, and notify us promptly at the address in Section 30, if you believe it has been compromised.

The operator may suspend, rate-limit, or revoke any API key at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including suspected abuse or a violation of these Terms — see Section 23 (Termination). Published rate limits and other API parameters described in the API documentation may change at any time without notice.

Section 7 (Acceptable Use) applies in full to API use, including the prohibitions on reselling access, bypassing rate limits, and unlawful use.

If you build a product, bot, or other integration using the API (an "Integration"), including but not limited to a Discord bot, you are solely responsible for that Integration and for your own end users' compliance with these Terms, including the eligibility requirement in Section 2 that all users be at least 18 years of age. The operator has no visibility into or control over who accesses your Integration. You agree to indemnify the operator under Section 22 (Indemnification) for claims arising from your Integration or its end users, in addition to your own use of the API, and you must not deploy an Integration in a way that misrepresents the Service's output as your own or otherwise circumvents these Terms.

The AI Disclaimer (Section 5) and Disclaimer of Warranties (Section 20) apply in full to API responses. The operator does not warrant the availability, accuracy, or continued operation of the API and may modify, suspend, or discontinue it at any time.

To report abuse, or a moderation decision you believe was wrong: abuse@israelgpt.site. Neither address is monitored around the clock; never use them to report an emergency.

31. Voice Calling Feature

The Service includes an optional, experimental voice calling feature. While you have "Take calls" on, you appear in an online list that everyone else on the Service can see, as your caller name and picture (for guests, one assigned at random from a small built-in set; for accounts, the username and caller picture you choose), and anyone in that list can call you. Your account and other identifiers are never shown. Turn "Take calls" off in the call list or in Settings to leave the list and stop being called.

Your browser asks for microphone permission when you place or answer a call, and the call uses your microphone only while it lasts. You may decline or revoke that permission at any time in your browser's settings; doing so disables calling without affecting any other feature.

Calls always go through a relay run by our hosting provider, so neither person sees the other's IP address. The audio is encrypted end to end between the two browsers, and is not recorded, stored, or reviewed by the operator, and no call log is kept. See the Privacy Policy (Section 1.7). Because calls are not recorded, the operator cannot moderate what is said on them: you can hang up, decline, or block anyone at any time.

The people you call and who call you are strangers. Do not share personal information on calls. Section 7 (Acceptable Use) applies in full to calling, including its prohibitions on harassment, impersonation, and recording without consent. Calls are subject to rate limits, end after 2 hours or when either person leaves the Service, and may be ended by the operator at any time.

This feature is experimental within the meaning of Section 18 (Beta Features) and is provided with no guarantee of call quality, connectivity, or availability. Sections 19 (Service Availability), 20 (Disclaimer of Warranties), and 21 (Limitation of Liability) apply to it in full.

32. Images and Mature Content

When a reply contains an “[IMAGE]” tag, the Service shows a picture drawn at random from a third-party anime-image library (nekosapi), and your browser loads that picture directly from the provider’s content delivery network, which sees your IP address and browser as any site you load a picture from would. We do not choose individual pictures, host them, or review them one by one. “Show images” in Settings turns pictures in replies on and off.

How mature those pictures may be is your choice. One slider in Settings → Pictures (or the “/nsfw” command in the chat) has five stops: Safe (the default), Cute, Normal, NSFW and Explicit. Each stop draws from a different set of the provider’s ratings and tags, from ordinary safe pictures at the first to explicit art at the last. The three mature stops ask you, once and separately, to confirm that you are at least 18 years old and accept that the pictures may show nudity and sex; that answer is kept in your browser only, is not the same as the consent in Section 1, and turns nothing else on. The setting belongs to the browser you are using, is not shared with your account or any other device, and you can move it back to Safe at any time.

Child sexual abuse material is never served, at any stop. Before a picture reaches you, our servers check it again: that its rating is one your chosen stop allows, that it came from the provider’s CDN, and every tag it carries. Tags that mean a child are refused outright — including cases the provider’s own ratings would have passed, since some of its child-tagged pictures are rated “safe” — and at the two safe stops so is any picture carrying a tag the provider itself flags as NSFW. This is a safety measure applied on top of the provider’s ratings, not a guarantee of what a third party will publish tomorrow. If you see something you believe should not be there, do not describe it in chat; report it to us as in Section 30, and where our review concludes that it is CSAM it is handled exactly as in Section 8, including the reporting there.

Section 7 (Acceptable Use) applies in full to pictures as it does to everything else: you may not use the Service to solicit, request, trade or share such material, or to work around these settings.
